Het ziet er niet alleen mooi uit qua afwerking en vormgeving het is ook een heel praktisch meubel. Je kunt elpees scrollen en de hoezen goed presenteren. Als je er naar kijkt nodigt het uit om platen te draaien. Ik heb geen grote platencollectie maar alle elpees passen er mooi in, ook elpee boxen. (zie de box van George Harrison) De coverfront is in een eigen kleur gespoten waardoor je het kunt aanpassen in je interieur. Piet Hein heeft het keurig afgeleverd en gemonteerd .
